SXC Health Solutions Corp, a provider of pharmacy-benefits management services, has acquired a specialty pharmacy provider for $100 million.

Under the agreement with MedfusionRx, the Lisle-based company will add $5.5 million to the deal if performance targets are met through 2012.

Alabama-based MedfusionRx provides clinical services to patients with chronic diseases, such as bleeding disorders, growth hormone deficiency and multiple sclerosis. It also owns pharmacies in several states.
