General Motors Co. is recalling nearly 96,000 Cadillac CTS cars for the model years 2005 to 2007 because a front passenger air-bag sensor could break and disable the bag.

Pfizer is recalling a lot of 19,000 bottles of the blockbuster cholesterol drug Lipitor, citing a consumer complaint about an “uncharacteristic” odor.

Honda Motor Co. will recall 734,392 Fit subcompact cars because of defective headlights, according to a report filed Thursday with Japan’s transportation ministry.

Johnson & Johnson issued a recall of its Softchews Rolaids antacids Thursday after wood and metal bits were discovered in the tablets.
J&J, which recalled some Rolaids products in November, said it was voluntarily recalling all lots of the Softchews products after potentially uncovering problems with a third-party manufacturer.

From KTLA TV | The discovery of hard plastic inside packages has prompted a nationwide recall of 72,000 pounds of canned chicken salad sold nationwide under several labels.
The Suter Company, based in Sycamore, Ill., is recalling 8.2-ounce packages of the “Bumble Bee Lunch on the Run Chicken Salad Complete Lunch Kit” and 3.5-ounce packages of “Bumble Bee Chicken Salad with Crackers,” according to a statement released Sunday by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.

Johnson & Johnson, which has been recalling a number of popular over-the-counter medicines, said Wednesday it’s withdrawing more Tylenol because of a labeling problem.
The company’s McNeil Consumer Healthcare unit is recalling nearly 9.3 million bottles of three Tylenol Cold Multi-Symptom products from drug stores and suppliers because the bottles’ front labels didn’t show they contain small amounts of alcohol from ingredients that flavor the medicine.
