Turkish Airlines orders 15 Boeing 737s

Boeing says Turkish Airlines has exercised options for 15 new 737s with a list value of $1.2 billion.

Boeing Co. says the planes will have the new “sky interior” with larger stowage bins and overhead space. The order includes 10 737-800s and 5 737-900ERs.

Chicago-based Boeing has received orders from 14 customers for a total of 305 extended-range 737-900s since the model’s launch in July 2005.
