McDonald’s names VP of multicultural marketing

McDonald’s promoted its vice president and general manager of the Indianapolis region to vice president of multicultural marketing.

Edgardo A. Navarro Linares will be responsible for the company’s strategic and ethnic consumer marketing efforts in the United States.

In his 18 years at the company, Navarro Linares has held various positions in the U.S. and Central America. Most recently, he is credited with developing the business and marketing plan for the launch of McDonald’s McCafe beverages.

Navarro Linares will assume his new role on Jan. 4.
