From Reuters | Deerfield-based Fortune Brands plans to increase marketing spending in its spirits business more than 10 percent. Fortune’s senior vice president and chief financial officer Craig Omtvedt said that Fortune wants to build its core brands, such as Jim Beam bourbon and Sauza tequila, as well as promote newer products.
