Illinois, Chicago to assist with Finkl plant

Ill. tax credit incentive to hire temp workers

Gov. Pat Quinn has signed legislation providing a $2,500 tax credit to employers hiring trainees from the Put Illinois to Work temporary jobs program. New home sales plummet as tax credit expires

Sales of new homes collapsed in May, sinking 33 percent to the lowest level on record as potential buyers stopped shopping for homes once they could no longer receive government tax credits.
