Urban Partnership Bank adds legal staffer

Urban Partnership Bank, the $1.4 billion-asset successor to the failed ShoreBank, has hired Maureen Bismark as its legal department’s new assistant general counsel.

Bismark joins Urban Partnership from Cole Taylor Bank. Before that, she worked at Bank Financial. She is a graduate of DePaul University and earned her law degree at John Marshall College of Law in Chicago. She chairs the peace and justice committee of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago.
