Casual dining chain International House of Pancakes LLC is planning to develop more restaurants on college campuses with partner Aramark.

“The trend of breakfast all-day and late-night dining is growing on college campuses,” said Ann Marie Solomon, Aramark vice president of national brand partnerships, in a statement.

The effort is part of IHOP’s broader strategy to target people that currently don’t visit IHOP locations or don’t visit regularly.

IHOP, which is owned by DineEquity Inc., said Monday that the partnership includes a two-year test program to create a potential mix of five IHOP Express and IHOP U restaurants on U.S. college campuses.

There is currently one IHOP Express at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Another location is being planned for Virginia Commonwealth University.
