Chicago-based Accretive Health, a health care financial services company, will open a new processing facility at 231 S. LaSalle Street, adding 650 jobs over 10 years, the company announced this week.

The company currently employs 175 people at its headquarters at 401 N. Michigan Ave. and said the new offices will be home to a B2B center, offering employees full-time jobs with benefits and an average salary of $35,000 per year.

The center is opening and job training is being provided with the help of $6 million in TIF funding approved by the City of Chicago’s Community Development Commission. Under the agreement, the company will hire 200 employees in the first two years, adding 50 to 75 jobs per year thereafter. The company was also awarded an EDGE tax credit from the state of Illinois due to the number of jobs that will be created.

Accretive said it will maintain its Michigan Avenue headquarters at current staffing levels.
