Boeing wins $8.5M Navy contract

The Boeing Co. has won an $8.5 million order for engineering work to put virtual training systems into aircraft.The Pentagon said Monday the work would include design of two flight-worthy radar virtual training systems in T-45C aircraft. Work will be split between St. Louis and Israel and is expected to be done in June 2012.

The Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Md., handled the contracting.
