Boeing, Argon deal wins U.S. antitrust approval

Boeing Co. has won U.S. antitrust approval to buy defense manufacturer Argon ST Inc , the Federal Trade Commission said Tuesday.

Boeing said in early June that it would buy Argon for about $775 million to beef up its capabilities in sensors, communications technologies and information management.

The deal was on a list of approved transactions that the FTC puts out several times a week.
