WTTW parent plans to cut 12% of workforce

The parent of public broadcaster WTTW-Ch. 11 said Friday it plans to cut around 12 percent of its workforce as part of an effort to cut $3 million in operating costs in response to declining revenue.

    Good news. I hate WTTW and obviously a lot of others do too.

    I think it was a really bad idea for WTTW and other public TV stations to have so many fund-raisers with those horrid musical debacles (Celtic Woman) and fake-science specials (Perricone). Total turnoffs to the intelligent viewing base.
