By Becky Yerak | PNC Bank will sponsor a new mezzanine suite at the Chicago Cubs’ Wrigley Field.

The 71-seat PNC Club of Chicago is located along the third base line behind the Cubs’ bullpen. It offers food, a bar, concierge service, big-screen TVs, and indoor and outdoor seating. Individuals and businesses that buy season tickets will also have access to the club on non-game days. PNC also will expand its ATM presence in Wrigley from four to six ATMs.

PNC entered the Chicago market in December 2008 through the acquisition of National City Bank, a longtime Cubs sponsor.

About a week ago, DePaul University announced it selected PNC to provide financial services for students, faculty and staff. At DePaul, PNC replaces TCF Bank.

PNC, through National City, has 135 branches in the Chicago area that are scheduled to convert to the PNC brand in June. Season tickets to the PNC Club are available in sets of two, four and six.

Wish PNC would hurry the hell up already. I had them as a bank when I lived on the East Coast and have been waiting for 2 years since they took over NatCity to come out here.

Good going, Cubs. Pick a bank that absolutely 3 people use above the age of 21, so they rest of us will have to pay $3 to withdrawal money.
