Walgreen’s to test loyalty card, other programs

Loyalty card? Don’t they need to practice before they preach? They just announced that they are outsourcing jobs to India, and they want loyalty from American customers? You earn loyalty by actions, not a discount card.
Too bad. I have long preferred Walgreens to CVS because they don’t require a “loyalty card” to get sale prices. Walgreens clerks are pretty good at handling the paper coupons as needed, whereas CVS clerks get slowed down by the need to request and scan cards.
Please, NO. The last thing I want is another “loyalty card” in my wallet. I, too, shop at Walgreens over CVS because they do not require a card to receive the sale price. I am one to look at almost all of the newspaper flyers on Sundays, and while I don’t even glance at the CVS piece because I haven’t bothered to get a card from them, I do peruse the Walgreens ads. Please, please, Walgreens, don’t follow the lemmings.
