U.S. Bank to close 7 Chicago branches

U.S. Bancorp will close seven Chicago-area branches in May as it integrates the failed Park National Bank, the Chicago-based lender it acquired last October in a deal brokered by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.

Five Park National branches will be merged into nearby U.S. Bank branches, and two U.S. Bank branches will be consolidated into Park National branches, leaving U.S. Bank with more than 80 branches in the Chicago area.

Here are the affected branches:

–A U.S. Bank branch at 3611 N. Kedzie will be merged into a Park National branch at 3515 W. Irving Park Road.

–A Park National office at 880 N. York Road in Elmhurst will be consolidated into a U.S. Bank office at 536 S. York Road in Elmhurst.

–A Park National office at 698 S. Route 59 in Naperville will be merged into a U.S. Bank office at 4455 Montgomery Road in Naperville.

–A U.S. Bank branch at 21 N. Third St. in Geneva will be consolidated into a Park National branch at 808 W. State St. in Geneva.

–A Park National branch at 1205 Naper Blvd. in Naperville will be consolidated into a U.S. Bank branch at 1230 S. Naper Blvd. in Naperville.

–A Park National office at 24 N. Washington St. in Naperville will be consolidated into a U.S. Bank office at 136 S. Washington St. in Naperville.

–A Park National office at 7910 Route 14 in Crystal Lake will be consolidated into a U.S. Bank office at 350 Commonwealth Drive in Crystal Lake.
