Meetordie.com tallies money wasted in meetings

By Kiah Haslett | Meetordie.com,
a recently launched Web site, calculates just how much money was lost
to department meetings, conferences and other office gatherings.

Plug in your company’s name, industry, size, meeting length and who is
in attendance. On the left, Goolah, the friendly looking blob, changes
color and moods as the meeting fills up.

According to the company blog, “(Goolah) values your time (unlike your co-workers) and will be brutally honest — whether it’s evaluating your meeting, or crushing your hopes and dreams. He keeps it real like that.”

The monetary results are phrased in terms of donations to relief organization, or a tab of how much money has been wasted by the industry appears. No personal data is captured by the site.

Meetordie calculates money lost through meetings by “looking at the specific industries, companies, meeting length, and salaries of the attendees.

Salaries and job titles have been pulled from multiple online resources, including the Department of Labor Statistics.”

That is what most of the companies do. They waste their money in those activities which are really not necessary. And that is why money rates of the country, go so high and inflation punches the life of a poor person.
